Note:

  • Students who would like to apply for the Yale Summer Sessions may proceed to the official application now or before the deadlines set by Yale University at their official website (kindly take note of the Yale application deadline of different sessions and programmes). Please also submit your application to SAO from 1 – 23 February 2024 in order to become a UM-nominated student. Only UM-nominated students will be eligible to compete for the UM sponsorship based on smart point or RC nomination. 

  • Only students who enroll in face-to-face course(s) will be nominated by UM and allowed to compete for the sponsorship.

  • For year 3 and year 4 students, as long as the teaching language of your major is English, you may provide a testimonial issued by the Registry for the English proof.

Visa RequirementStudying in-person generally requires entering the United States on a valid F-1 visa. You may not attend Yale Summer Session on a B-1 or B-2 (tourist visa)
