Students who decided to apply for the Harvard Summer School can proceed to the official application at the Harvard University website from February 19 or March 2, 2026 (course registration begins) until the deadlines set by Harvard University. Harvard sets different deadlines for submission of documents for I-20 (F-1 student visa), payment, immunization proof, etc. At the same time, students need to submit the internal application to SAO (21 Jan – 23 Feb 2026) to become a UM-nominated student. Only UM-nominated students will be eligible to compete for the UM sponsorship based on smart point or RC nomination.

Besides, students must enroll in a face-to-face/on-campus course(s) in order to be nominated by UM.
