Students who decided to apply for the Summer Institute can proceed to the official application on the website of Georgia State University from now until the deadlines set by the Summer Institute. At the same time, students need to submit the internal application to SAO (21 Jan – 23 Feb 2026) to become a UM-nominated student. Only UM-nominated students will be eligible to compete for the UM sponsorship based on smart point or RC nomination.

Note
Students must be at least 17 years old as of the program start date (June 30, 2026). All applicants must be born before June 30, 2009. The Summer Institute is designed for international students.

English Requirement & Refund Policy
TOEFL or IELTS scores are not compulsory for admission to the Summer Institute. However, students must demonstrate a certain level of English proficiency by fulfilling the requirements set by the host university.
